To implement websites and internal visitor assistance systems in 5 centers of the “Red Square” network.
Spellsystems created two typical websites. One for the “Red Square” shopping mall and one for the “Red Square” mega-center. The main difference between them is section structure. Every typical website has functionality for shop catalog management including category management independent on other website instances. Every typical website has its own interactive map constructor, capable for multi-floor trade-center map creation and shop locations management. In addition, typical websites have an API for internal visitor assistance system.
Moreover, each website instance has its own administration panel, but still capable for centralized management. After that, we deployed 5 websites based on the typical websites.
In parallel, we created a typical solution of shopping mall visitor assistant system. It contains of two components. The first one is a desktop solution for interactive terminals with touch control operated with Microsoft Windows XP/7. The second one is the server solution for website integration, data caching and terminal network status monitoring. The shopping mall visitor assistant solution use website’s database to get shops catalog and interactive map. It allows users to find any shop by its name, category or keyword and discover the shortest route to it. Rotes generated automatically based on shop position, current terminal position and terminal orientation. It supports multi-floor routing with elevators or escalator considering elevator directions.
Next, we deployed this typical solution in all 5 centers in Krasnodar Region.
